Sophisticated summer look with feather fringe! The top I recently purchased was too short to wear as a dress (I had bought a size L hoping it would be long enough!), so I threw on this short feather fringe skirt to give my look more balance. I know you’ve seen me wear this skirt many times but it’s my go-to! The feather fringe instantly adds texture and dimension.
For the shoes, I could have definitely stuck on a pair of trainers, but I decided to to glam up the look a bit with some suede heels. I get so nervous wearing these – stained cream suede would be a nightmare. And I’ll share a bit of secret about me: I am kind of clumsy and stain everything. Regardless of how carefully I eat, I always manage to drop something on my clothes. This is why when I’m eating at home, I am “advised” by my family to switch out of my nice clothing  so my poor mom can be spared of stain-treating. So naturally, I was very nervous about getting these shoes. Surprisingly though, it’s been a year and they still look new…!

P.S. Don’t forget the details! I layered on some gold arm candy – one or two accessories go a long way 😉
