I made it to Korea! Definitely prefer this kind of weather over that of Hong Kong. It is still pretty hot, but at least the air isn’t 100% humidity. We went around all of the areas of Seoul, from Insadong (where we stayed), to Hongdae (where the cool shopping is at!) Maybe I will post a mini travel diary within the next few posts…
This is what I wore on the first day. Kept it simple, donning black and white – can’t really go wrong there. Threw on my travel backpack (or the Big Hero 6 backpack as my brother likes to call it) – it is the perfect size for me to stuff everything I need (camera and sunscreen included).
I bought the Birkenstocks at a J.Crew in HK. My aunt knows I have an obsession with anything holographic, so I was deciding between these slip-ons and a pair of tall holographic heels. The salesperson (a brutally honest one) told me I shouldn’t get the heels because 1) They didn’t look good on me 2) I wouldn’t be able to walk in them 3) If I wanted to get them I could, and practice wearing them in the house until my senior graduation. Decided not to get them… My aunt bought me the Birks instead.
