Pink, prim, Barbie. I love the irony in the top #justwokeuplikethis. I actually wore this look a few days before Moschino came out with their stunning, vibrant, and sarcastic version of the perfect “Barbie”. It was a complete coincidence and once I saw the runway, it was a déjà vue.
Go online to see the entire Moschino show because your next Halloween costume is at the ready. Look no further than to Jeremy Scott, who has got it all planned out.
The base of this look is monochromatic, and the band at the top of the skirt is my favourite part. It gives off a more sporty feel, to the already girly look. Mix and match different styles to create some juxtaposition, or go the other way around and really hone in on a specific theme.
In honour of Fashion Week, I have been watching all of the Gossip Girl episodes that involve Fashion Week. Boy do I wish I lived the glamorous life of these glitzy queens during this sacred time of the year. I am so jealous of Serena’s hair; words cannot describe how stunning she looks with messy updos. If you have not seen this show yet, get off of this post and start already 🙂
